Wigglers and Walkers

Join us for a combined toddler and baby storytime. Babies and toddlers (ages 0 to 3 years) and their caretakers are invited to join us for short stories, songs, rhymes and movement in this language enrichment program designed to boost brain development followed by playtime.

Community Experience: Soulful Expressions Open Mic Night

Open mic night for poets, comedians, and musicians. Soulful Expressions is a space for performers to showcase their art in its truest form. Performance sign-up and social-time from 4:30pm to 5:00pm; performances begin at 5:00pm. Hosted by Speak EZ Poetry.

Home Buying & Selling 101

Presented by AmeriFirst Financial, Inc. This home buying and selling class will allow you to gain inside knowledge of the home buying process from beginning to end. This class will also cover the different loan programs available, including credit qualifications for these different programs, and how to resolve credit issues to successfully purchase a new home.

Community Experience: In Search of Scorpions

Scorpions have a great camouflage, but we have an extra trick to help us spot them! We'll take a short, safe hike and use special lights to help us find scorpions by making them glow. Bring water, close-toe shoes and a black light if you have one. (limited number are available for borrowing; They're also available for purchase at the gift shop) Meet at the Gila Trailhead. At the beginning of the program, names will be entered into a drawing for a family 4-pack of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix tickets. Cost: FREE Vehicle Fee: $7

"The desert is beautiful at night and even more so under the glow of a full moon. Treat yourself to this relaxing hike in the peace of the desert outdoors.
