Family Storytime

This interactive program will feature longer books and a variety of activities such as songs, finger plays, and skill building activities needed to get your child ready for Kindergarten. This program may be replaced intermittently with an ALL AGES performer program.

Taiko Rocks the Library
"Taiko Rocks the Library" explores the fascinating culture of Japan and the Far East through exciting performances and an interactive lecture that showcases the mesmerizing Taiko drum, beautiful bamboo wind instruments and the unique percussion instruments of Japan, China, Korea and Vietnam. Discover what’s to love at the Library. Performed by Eileen Morgan.

Punk Rock Puppets
Part of the Teen Programs @ Your Library series. These moving mouth puppets are a fun project that gets everyone excited about bringing their own characters and concepts to life. From dragons and fairies to cats and dogs to punk rockers, there's almost no limit to what you can make. This workshop utilizes STEAM/STEM principals. Coco Inspired Skull Painting
Part of the Teen Programs @ Your Library series. Create your own Coco inspired painting with an experienced instructor. Part of our Summer Crafting series! Explore the thrill of chemistry and physics as you learn about the sticky polymers of slime! With interactive games, kids will bounce around like bustling atoms, and create long chains of polymers, before putting their knowledge to work with their very own batch of slime!

PotterPalooza!: A Harry Potter Party

Join us for an afternoon of wizarding fun! Activities will include getting sorted, potions class, a themed photo booth, and more! Costumes are encouraged. Muggles and wizards of all ages are welcome at this special event. *Please note, this event takes the place of the normally scheduled More to Explore program.

Craig Davis Magic Show
The Craig Davis Show is an amazing, fun-filled show. Craig's energetic performance includes juggling, rings, tropical birds, slack rope walking, and unicycling. Craig easily engages his entire audience; many children will enjoy the thrill of creating magic at Craig's side! Through magic, Craig impresses children with the importance of dreams, perseverance, and education.

See if you can figure out all the clues to escape this Harry Potter themed room in 30 minutes! Good luck! Please call 623-333-2601 to register for your time to play. Space is limited.
