Teen Volunteer Days (Ages 12-18)
Teens volunteer at the library to meet new friends, help out their community, learn valuable work skills, learn about libraries, and earn volunteer hours for school! Teen ComiCon Club (Ages 12-18)
Do you love anime, comics, popular TV shows and movies?? Then join the Avondale Public Library ComiCon Club! You can earn volunteer hours for school while meeting new friends, participating in fun activities and helping to plan events, like the Library ComiCon!
2nd & 4th Thursday of the month, 3:00pm - 5:00pm, Civic Center Library
Soulful Expressions Open Mic Night (Ages 13+)
Open mic night for poets, comedians, and musicians. Soulful Expressions is a space for performers to showcase their art in its truest form. Takes place the 2nd Saturday of every month. Performance sign-up and social-time from 4:30pm to 5:00pm; performances begin at 5:00pmpm. Hosted by Speak EZ Poetry & TeenKonnect.
